by jim on Jul.02, 2010, under Geek Articles

Last night we experienced parent teacher conferences for our Kindergarten student. They went ok, but the most enjoyable part was going to the book fair and seeing all the neat books obtainable to children at a reduced price. They ranged from early visitors to advanced students. They had a few priced at $2.50, most had been $5-$7. Because we had been there on the last day I believe we missed out on some good selections, but nevertheless managed to find quite a couple of that our young reader would enjoy.

I’m excited to head to this once again next year, or even find 1 at a various school and go to theirs. The proceeds from all sales go back to the school which can be really helpful. The college also includes a fun carnival in the end of the school year and proceeds from those game ticket revenue also go to great nearby leads to for the college students.

Our son is performing nicely in college. His teachers think about him to become bright, a quick learner, and really good at math and reading. Most of all I want him to become recognized for his talents and be provided every opportunity obtainable. I was an A student in school and was able to be in any group I wanted. All of the sophisticated actions had been made available and helped form who I am today. I want my boys to have those same opportunities.
